A KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) team has successfully developed a two wheel scooter called the Hubo-Way. This unique travel device uses modified technology of a Segway. The intuitive wheel design utilized by the Hubo-Way enables the user to change directions by simply leaning left or right. Maximum speed is rated at 20km/h, and the Hubo-Way is capable of keeping its balance easily in a stationary position. This is truly a great transportation tool for the elderly who do not have the strength to walk long distances. The Hubo-Way will be priced for approximately half the amount of an existing Segway. Will we see imports from Korea in the US then?
