There are two ways to alert yourself of an incoming phone call – using an annoyingly loud ring tone or turning on the silent mode. While the former is almost guaranteed to have you reaching for the “Answer” button, the latter sometimes goes unheeded. The MBW-100 from BQ Wireless offers an alternative, featuring the ability to transfer the vibration from your cellphone to the wristband, giving an almost surefire method of being alerted to an incoming call. The MBW-100 will be available this July for $39.95 a pop. If only the design was something worth giving a second look. I’m just wondering, isn’t the Bluetooth headset already offering this function, albeit using ring tones in lieu of vibration?
