PQI has recently announced a bunch of SSD cards, namely the high speed 226X Industrial CF Turbo+ card, 256GB SSD Turbo+, 32GB PCI-E SSD and 1.8” 32GB ZIF . The 226X Industrial CF Turbo+ card comes with a maximum capacity of 16GB along with a data transfer rate of 38MB/s, while the 256GB SSD Turbo+ nearly doubles that amount at 60MB/s. Those with an idle ExpressCard slot in their notebooks can take advantage of the 32GB PCI-E SSD card as their removable storage medium of choice. Have you made the jump to SSDs yet, or are you still relying on traditional hard drives as your choice of storage device?
