
While the iPhone is not even out yet, there are already rumors that the iPhone will be released with a GPS update at Macworld next year, thanks to an integrated Assisted GPS chipset which takes a much faster time to determine the user’s current location. Do you think Apple will pull such a stunt and incense iPhone owners who picked up this smartphone later this summer? Should this rumor be true, it will be very Nintendo-like, with the Japanese gaming giant releasing a hardware refresh barely a year after the Nintendo DS was launched. The DS Lite went on to do gangbusters in terms of sales – will history repeat itself here?
