Samsung SLIQ cellphone concept

Designer Mike Serafin has certainly done an outstanding job when it comes to designing a concept cellphone that Samsung should take heed. Known as the SLIQ, this unique looking handset takes the touchscreen approach by offering an advanced touch interface with tactile feedback. The extra wide LCD is certainly a feast for the eyes, while other features like a 2 megapixel camera, an integrated video player, a document viewer, MP3 playback, and an integrated memory card slot help round off a satisfying user experience. In an ideal world, the SLIQ measures a mere 1cm in thickness despite cramming in all those features. Then again, the SLIQ will exist in such a world, but a quick reality check shows that you won’t be seeing the SLIQ anytime soon in this lifetime.
