Watching movies in 3D have long been a pipe dream, and even until today we can’t get 3D pictures from all viewing angles, with the best seat in the house being right smack in the middle. SeeReal Technologies are working on a 3D holographic system that follows the watcher’s eyes, producing a corresponding holographic effect in the process. At least 100 patents for this technology has already been filed, and they have dropped word that “commercial products could be made available in a fairly short time.” Thankfully these won’t require you to look extra nerdy by wearing a pair of 3D glasses.
