Don Dunklee has forked out approximately $3,300 and invested at least 80 hours into building this solar powered scooter that comes with foldable solar panels located at the sides of the back seat. Don Dunklee himself takes his invention on a 10 miles roundtrip as he commutes to and fro work. A total of four 30-watt solar panels soak up the sun while he is working in order to keep the green vehicle juiced up. I’m sure this idea will catch on in the future when the design has been refined to appeal to a younger audience.
