The VIA EPIA PX motherboard is based on the recently announced Pico-ITX form factor, measuring a mere 3.9″ x 2.8″ in size. According to VIA, this platform is capable of running the processor and chipset at 9W and 3.5W respectively, giving users the chance to run standard productivity and multimedia applications below 13W. A 1GHz VIA C7 processor overlooks the proceedings, while the motherboard itself can hold up to 1GB of DDR2 RAM. If you’re really that hard up for space in your apartment and want to do some word processing on occasion, building a computer with this motherboard is definitely a novel space saving idea.
