Viewsonic unveils VX1932wm in Taiwan

ViewSonic has just expanded its widescreen LCD monitor range by introducing the VX1932wm in Taiwan. This 19″ LCD display will retail for approximately $240 and complies with European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Energy Star. Features include a resolution of 1,440 x 900 , a brightness level of 300 nits, a contrast ratio of 700 to 1, and a viewing angle of 160/160 degrees. With a response time of 2ms, the VX1932wm would make a great movie and gaming monitor, but the 19″ size is rather small in comparison to the 22″ models that are fast becoming the de facto standard these days.
