Etri unveils emo pet robot

Etri of Korea unveiled its Kobie emotional robot pet at the recently concluded SEK 2007. It looks more like a koala than anything else, and I suppose it comes with all the necessary sensors in the right places to respond to strokes, loving coos, and cheek pinches accordingly. The only thing I don’t like is the inhumane charging method – just take a look at the pic. I know I won’t be too pleased having a power plug shoved up my nostrils, but hey – robots have no emotion or feelings right? It would’ve been a hoot to see a butt plug utilizes instead.
