While the majority of automakers have taken the initiative to minimize the chances of allergens entering the vehicle, Ford’s Mondeo tops the list in Europe after receiving the “Allergy-tested seal of approval” from the German TÃœV Rhineland group. This was made possible by eliminating chrome and nickel from the cockpit, using low-emission adhesives in addition to allergen-tested textiles and leathers. The pollen filter also removes pollen from the air, letting those in the vehicle breathe easy.
