Home > CellPhones > GoTV aims to be the HBO of mobile TV

So GoTV Networks believes the cell phone will be the next mega TV marker. The mobile TV provider creates and distributes video content on-demand television programming customised for the cell phone experience, across carriers like AT&T, Sprint Nextel, BoostMobile (who?), Helio, Alltel and Verizon. GoTV also claims to work on 85% of handsets today… hard to verify that though.

“We offer premium subscription channels in areas like music, sports, comedy and entertainment in which subscribers pay between 5-6$/month”, said Daniel Tibbets, GoTV’ Studio Chief at a recent Churchill Club event on mobile TV.
