This Chocolatey handset from LG, better known as the LG KU580, is a cellphone that boasts 3G connectivity via UMTS to keep you connected at all times. What makes this handset special from the other 3G phones would be built-in support for a bunch of Google applications including GMail, Google Maps, and Google Search. Other rudimentary features include a front VGA camera for video calls, a 2 megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens behind, an integrated FM tuner, MP3 playback, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion and data storage options. There is no word on pricing or availability, but it ought to hit store shelves sometime before the year is over. I don’t know about you, but checking out Google stuff from such a tiny screen isn’t my cup of tea.
