Just when Nintendo raised the ante for handheld consoles with its touchscreen controls, a new game called Slide Adventure: Mag Kid will come with a peripheral that plugs into Slot-2 (the one where you stuff GBA carts inside) on the DS while sitting beneath the system in the same manner as a stand. Sliding the DS around on a flat surface will let the peripheral detect those very movements which in turn are used to control the main character. Sounds pretty interesting, but it is best to play this on a clear, empty floor as you wouldn’t want to slide your DS Lite over the table and onto the floor. Will this make you pick up the game when it comes out?
