Nokia unveils 6500 models

Nokia takes a step into the future by unveiling a couple of new handsets in the form of the 6500 classic and slider models. Both handsets were designed with large keys and ergonomically correct dimensions and surfaces for the convenience of the user. Both are WCDMA cellphones, where the 6500 Classic comes with 1GB of internal memory, a 2 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, an integrated MP3 player, and a multi-purpose micro USB connector. The 6500 Slide is more multimedia-centric with a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 8x digital zoom, 3G connectivty, and TV-out features. The Nokia 6500 Classic and Slide will be available when Q3 2007 rolls around, retailing for €320 and €370 respectively before taxes and subsidies.
