Mention Porsche and most people will think of cars that reach 60 mph in under 6 seconds. Porsche Design Studio have come up with their latest concept which does not feature four wheels but three in the form of the Pegasus wheelchair. This unique design empowers the disabled to move efficiently even in an upright position, where a manual actuation combined with an electric drive motor and gyroscopic sensors let the driver move through tight situations without much hassle. It won’t go anywhere near the speeds of its exotic car brethren, but it sure as heck offers more mobility options than the average wheelchair.
