Israeli scientists have successfully developed a medical robot that measures a mere 1mm in diameter, crawling through our veins and arteries – an ability that could come in handy, especially in the fight aainst cancer. There is no word on when this robot will be given the license to roam human beings, but I suppose the time will come soon within the next decade.Needless to say, plenty of tests need to be done beforehand. The very idea is exciting at the same time repulsive to me. I can just imagine the robot crawling through my veins, making me feel as though a scarab beetle from The Mummy movie is doing a number on my innards. How about you?
