Thomson’s Black Diamond is a new digital audio player that also goes by the moniker EH308, but unfortunately the feature set isn’t as polished as it’s name. Despite the appearance that comes in a sleek, black body complete with an ultra sensitive keyboard for easier navigation, you don’t really get anything out of the ordinary with this Black Diamond. Features include a 1.6″ 262k color display, USB 2.0 connectivity, 8GB of storage space, and MP3, WMA, JPEG, WMV, and MPEG 4 file format support. Battery life is rated at 15 hours, and I’m betting my bottom dollar that this refers to audio playback only. Would you prefer an iPod over the Black Diamond?
