Toshiba Dynabook targets gamers

Gamers seem to be a blessed bunch these days, with more and more notebook manufacturers taking note of this group by unveiling gaming notebooks that rival the performance of average gaming desktops. The Toshiba Dynabook Satellite WXW is one such notebook, running on Intel’s Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0GHz processor while aided by 1GB RAM (4GB max). You get the latest DirectX 10-compatible high-end graphics card inside, a 120GB hard drive, a DVD super drive, a 1.3 megapixel camera, HDMI connectivity, and a 17.1″ display. Heck, even the audio aspect has not been overlooked with Toshiba throwing in a 4.1 channel Harmon Kardon speakers complete with a subwoofer. The Satellite WXW will retail for $1,800 when it is released in Japan.
