Logitech’s Transporter is a digital audio streamer that comes with no form of storage space, but it acts as a middleman instead, streaming music from your computer, portable media players, or even directly off the Internet via a wireless connection. Not only that, it works seamlessly with different Web services such as Rhapsody and Pandora. The hardware of Logitech’s Transporter is actually provided by Slim devices and works great over a wired network as well. It is more than capable of handling both compressed and uncompressed music formats including WAV, AIFF, WMA, and MP3. Those interested in the Transporter will have to fork out $2,000.
