The TurboLinux Wizpy is an interesting portable media player that comes with a PC-bootable version of the Linux operating system. This device can be plugged into any computer’s USB port to boot up Linux, and it contains multimedia software that makes playback of Ogg, MP3, WMA, XviD, MPEG 4, and JPEG file formats a breeze. In addition the Wizpy features a recording feature and an FM radio tuner to round off the list of entertainment options. It will be available in 2GB and 4GB models, although the former will only be restricted to Japan. The TurboLinux Wizpy retails for $278 and is set to go on sale worldwide this month.
