Strange to see Creative release the Zen Stone Plus when the Zen Stone was unveiled just last month. The Zen Stone Plus, as its name suggests, will come with improved functions despite sharing a rather similar form factor. What you get is a blue OLED display, an integrated FM radio, stopwatch functionality, and voice recording capability. In addition, the Zen Stone Plus supports recording your voice over to a music track to create your custom karaoke track. It also retains the drag-and-drop feature that was a huge plus in the original Zen Stone. A 2GB Zen Stone Plus will most likely retail for approximately $70, making it a pretty serious contender to the iPod Shuffle’s dominance. Battery life is rated at 9.5 hours for continuous audio playback, but real world usage is probably less than that.
