Philips has a brand new universal remote control up their sleeves in the form of the TSU9400, and it has just received the nod from the FCC to boot. This remote control comes with a generous TFT display at 640 x 480 resolution. Capable of controlling any infrared device, you also get the advantage of WiFi controls. A docking station is provided to recharge the remote’s internal li-ion battery. It looks pretty large for a universal remote control, but at $900 a pop this isn’t going to be an impulse buy by any standard. If you want to have a matching remote for your expensive home theater, perhaps the TSU9400 fits the bill.
