NTT has unveiled the Flet Phone VP2000 that looks more like a tablet PC than a phone – then again, this is no ordinary phone as it features a pair of speakers as well as webcam functionality. The VP2000 boasts a 12.1″ XGA display, enabling users to access email, surf the Internet, and even hold a video conference via the VGA camera located in front. You can hold video calls with other webcam users or owners of 3G handsets in case you’re wondering. The Flet Phone VP2000 is not cheap though, retailing for €410 in Japan. There is no word on availability outside of Japan, but I’d sure as heck line up for one of these beauties.
