Gibson guitars used in Guitar Hero III

Talk about bringing a certain amount of realism to video games. Activision has unveiled a new subtitle for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Users won’t rock it out in some cheap looking plastic guitars, but instead will use fake Gibson guitars – a Les Paul model for the PS3 while the Kramer model will grace both Wii and Xbox 360 consoles. Fret buttons are now black in color with thin colored outlines for a cleaner look on the neck. These wireless guitars are also highly customizable in terms of looks thanks to removable faceplates. Characters within the game itself will also rely on Gibson guitars to pump out tunes. Pretty neat, huh?
