Ion Audio preserves vinyls to MP3s

If you think that your mom is about to throw out your vinyl collection when you pack up and head off to college, then you’d better preserve all their contents for posterity with the Ion Audio iTTUSB05 and iTTUSB10 players. These come with a USB port that lets you capture their audio for editing or direct playback on a computer. With the included EZ Vinyl Converter software, you’ll be able to convert records to digital files as well as upload them directly to iTunes for easy management. The iTTUSB05 is an entry level deck which supports 33 1/3 and 45 RPM records, and RCA output, while the iTTUSB10 has all those with recording for 78 RPM records, an improved anti-shake system, a better tone arm, and a phono output option to boot. The former retails for $150 while the latter is $100 more expensive.
