No, this is no night vision-capable video recorder that captures its subjects for posterity without their knowledge, but the LightCam actually comes in the form factor of a flashlight that makes it extremely portable. It has an aluminum body that provides waterproof capability, adopting a white LED with infrared ray to help capture video in a dark place. The LightCam can capture image stills as well as simultaneous video/audio recording. It is currently available in Korea, but the price tag of $500 will probably drive many people away. Unless you’re a paranoid father of you lovely young lady, I think the LightCam will find some very niche uses.
