Word on the street has it that Mio Technology is currently revamping a couple of its PDA GPS units in the form of the P360 and P560, dropping its more conventional GPS look to pick up a modernized MP3 player/phone design. This revamped design looks a bit like a Palm in some aspects, boasting a stylus-based touchscreen for navigation purposes with a secondary joystick and startup buttons for contacts and GPS located in front of the unit. You can also surf the Internet using WiFi, while Bluetooth connectivity gives you a wireless solution for headsets and keyboards. An SD memory card slot is essential to hold map and other data. Pricing details are unknown, but we could see these new units before the year is over.
