Mustek has just unveiled the ScanExpress A3 USB scanner that is capable of handling monstrous magazines and tabloids up to 11″ x 17″ in length. You might think it will cost you a pretty penny, but you’ll be surprised to know that the ScanExpress A3 retails for a mere $300, whereas other tabloid scanners cost anywhere from $1,000 upwards. Connected to your computer via USB 2.0, the ScanExpress A3 USB offers superior scan times compared to its predecessor that was released half a decade ago. Great for those who dive deep into research work and need to scan large amounts of pages at once, while those who scan magazines and photographs will appreciate at how much more one can scan with a single pass.
