Rumor of Dell tablet surface

Could Dell be working on a UMPC that is based on the Latitude line of specifications minus the keyboard? Just in case you’re wondering, the tablet PC form factor hasn’t exactly taken off like a rocket, forming an extremely niche community. It would be interesting to see if Dell would actually adopt a stylus-based UMPC and place them alongside their standard notebooks which has long been their bread and butter for many a year. Perhaps it would be safer for Dell to just rebadge an OEM model while offering the legendary support they’re famous for. I remember a friend telling me once, “How I wish I could buy a Mac and obtain the same kind of service and support that Dell offers.” As with any other rumor, time will tell.
