Sky aims for the stars

Sky has just launched its latest handset, the Shooting Star in Korea. Also known as the IM-U200, this rotating clamshell celllphone looks like a spaceship when closed. Features include Bluetooth-based wireless Personal Area Network for wireless headset compatibility and hands-free calls, a 1.3 megapixel camera, an electronic dictionary, and a text viewer. It will hit Korean markets this week for approximately $545 after conversion. I must say the keypad looks a tad uncomfortable to type on, but this is a rather pricey phone for such meager features. Guess you’re paying more for its looks than anything else.
