Sony has finally decided that releasing accessories for the iPod wouldn’t eat into its DAP and PMP sales, and backed that statement by releasing a new boombox as well as clock radio units. Expect Sony signatures such as high quality sound and exceptional design to grace these new offerings. First up we have the Sony ICF C1iP clock radio that comes with an iPod charging dock, stirring you from your slumber with your favorite tunes, a LCD with adjustable brightness, and automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment. The ZS-S2iP iPod boombox boasts a built-in AM/FM tuner, a CD player, Sony’s MegaBass sound systen, and a retractable iPod dock tray. Both devices will be released sometime next month for approximately $100 each.
