Touchscreen products seem to be big these days, and the TEAC MP-600 takes a similar route. Targeting the entry level portable media market with low amounts of memory (1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities), the MP-600 does boast an SD/MMC memory card slot for expansion options. It supports the most basic file formats, including MP3, WMA, WMA DRM, AVI, XviD, and JPEG – which should be more than enough for the casual user. Additional features include an equalizer, an integrated FM radio, recording functions, e-book support, and a cloned Tetris game. Battery life stands at 10 hours for audio, and 5.5 for video.
