UVEX has unveiled the Univision Magic goggles that uses LCD technology which removes the need to lug around a couple of goggles whenever you hit the slopes. The Magic comes with a VALiD lens, where the light lens kicks in automatically in a low light situation, but whenever the sun creeps up on your suddenly, the light lens will instantly be tinted dark when a switch is triggered, causing the liquid crystals located between the double lens to be jolted into position. A solitary AAA battery provides up to 200 hours of use, which is more than enough for an entire ski season. The Univision Magic will retail for $230 when it ships this September.
