EyePassword for iris-based security

The EyePassword software helps you key in your password without those looming over your shoulder taking a peek at what you are typing. It works by shining an infrared beam which is invisible to the naked eye on the user’s face that is used for tracking purposes, showing exactly which letter or number on the keyboard is being “keyed” to enter the password. The success rate of such a system currently stands at 97%, but it takes approximately 10 seconds more to visually enter a password. This is pretty lengthy compared to the average of 2.5 seconds associated with manual input. Still, the threat of someone taking note of your ATM number from behind far outweighs the extra 10 seconds required should this system be implemented.
