Everyone knows that the PSP-2000 (the slimline edition) will be coming when September 20 rolls around, and it is nice to see Sony releasing the new battery on the same date as well. Weighing a mere 30 grams, the PSP-S110 battery will retail for $40, allowing gamers to purchase multiple batteries for on-the-go gaming since the older generation of larger batteries are incompatible. As with anything slim, the battery capacity is diminished, although Sony claims that improved efficiency in the PSP will guarantee the same amount of play time. Check out our PSP-2000 hands-on here.
