Looks like the US will be receiving a couple of new Samsung handsets in the near future since they have just received a nod of approval by the FCC. The cellphones in question are the SCH-U700 Gleam and the SPH-A513. The former is a slim EV-DO clamshell handset that comes in gold for that added touch of elegance, featuring a small external display and touch controls for easy audio playback. As for the SPH-A513, this clamshell cellphone will be the first of its kind in Helio’s lineup and offers EV-DO compatibility and a 3 megapixel camera. While we know that the SCH-U700 will be available from Verizon Wireless, no further information concerning the SPH-A513 is available.
