Sony has just announced the DSC-H3 digital camera that captures images which can be viewed in perfect clarity over a HDTV. The DSC-H3 captures 8 megapixel resolution images and boasts a 10x optical zoom lens, face detection technology for sharper portrait shots, optical image stabilization, high sensitivity up to ISO 3200, and an advanced sports shooting mode, all crammed inside a compact body that is easy to tote around. You can hook it up to a HDTV using the VMC-HD1 high definition component cable, although that will cost you an additional $40. The Cybershot DSC-H3 will ship next month for approximately $300.
