Sony has just unveiled its Pocket Bit Mini USB drives that will come in 1GB and 2GB flavors. Marketed under the USM-HX series, you can choose from black or white colors to provide your Windows Vista-equipped computer with some ReadyBoost memory for a slight increase in performance. Each purchase will come with file encoding software, a virtual expander software, and a secret file lock. They’re rather tiny in size (14.5mm x 32mm x 2.7mm) so you’ll have to be extra careful not to lose these on your travels, especially when you’ve got important data stored within. The 1GB and 2GB models will retail for $34 and $52 respectively from September 2nd onwards.
