
Toyota and Sony have joined forces to develop an “armchair on wheels” which could potentially be the next-generation mode of transport in busy cities, making every nook and cranny accessible to everyone (especially the disabled). No idea on what this runs on, but chances are a large battery will be working hard behind the scenes. A commercial model is probably a long way off in the future still, so in the meantime don’t sell away your car just yet.
