Asus P526 reviewed

Our friends at Trusted Reviews have spent some quality time with the Asus P526, but the results weren’t really all that impressive. Operating on the Windows Mobile 6 Professional platform, this smartphone might look dashing but it doesn’t really impress where specifications are concerned. Sure, you get a light 115 gram body, a microSD memory card slot, a 2 megapixel camera, and a decent GPS receiver, but the P526 fails miserably where processor and memory allocation are concerned. At 200Mhz, this definitely isn’t a speed demon, while 128MB of onboard memory is but a pittance these days making the microSD card a must. What’s worse is the USB 1.1 connection that was supposed to be extinct quite a while ago. Definitely worth avoiding as you can get way better bang for your buck out there.
