Fuel cell arrives for cellphones

At long last, fuel cell technology has finally arrived for cellphones in the form of the 24/7 Power Pack charger from Medis Technologies. This first-generation charger claims to provide additional talktime on cellphones by up to 30 hours, 20 hours for smartphones and a whopping 80 hours of continuous playback for MP3 players like the iPod. The Power Pack is activated the moment you remove the tab, and is good for up to three months before a refill is required. You can pick one up for $25, while refill packs are slightly cheaper at $20. There are slimmer versions of the Power Pack in the pipeline, so things are looking up for frequent travelers who tote a whole bunch of gadgets with them.
