Investing too much time and effort into your hobby could be the death of you, as this man from southern China found out the literal way. The 30-something year old collapsed in front of his computer terminal suddenly after a three-day marathon online session at a cybercafe. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene but were unable to revive him. Apparently the 72-plus hours he spent in front of the computer proved to be his undoing, triggering heart problems.
I remember of at least one gamer in Korea who died after playing continuously for 4 days.
