Guesstimating Apple’s Next iPod

This is probably our last chance to guess what the next iPod is going to be, before the big announcement, so here’s my guess:

• iPhone-looking
• No wheel
• iPhone-like UI
• 3.5” Display
• 100GB HDD, 1.8”
• No Wifi (I hope I’m wrong)
• No Satellite Radio (I doubt that XM and Apple agreed on a deal – although buying a song while listening at it on the radio would be nice!)

Basically, Apple will bring the iPhone’s sex appeal to the high-end iPod. By doing this, the company will not only improve the user interface, but it will also open the potential for applications – if both devices work on the same basic platform. Let’s wait and see…
