The Infolink cordless phone from GE is pretty strange as it does more than facilitate conversations – it comes with the ability to hook up to the Internet, downloading weather, news, and your favorite RSS feeds for your perusal. These feeds can be customized so you’ll always stay tuned with what you want. I suppose this is great for sports buffs who must have the latest results on hand. The Infolink is a DECT phone, so you won’t have to worry too much over interference problems. A couple of Infolink handsets and a base station will retail for $180 when they roll out this coming October.
