JVC has a brand new camcorder available known as the GR-DA20 and it boasts a really different form factor where the LCD monitor is concerned. The 2.4″ LCD monitor is capable of sliding vertically upwards and downwards in order to provide you with a wider range of viewing angles. Features include Digital Color NightScope function that works great in low light conditions, a 1/6-inch 800k pixel CCD sensor, 34x optical zoom, a 16:9 widescreen mode, and a 3D noise filter. All memories are recorded straight onto a MiniDV tape. No idea on how much it costs nor when will it be released, so stay tuned.
