When it comes to the Google phone, rumors are aplenty on the Web. Here are some hat tips of this mythical device from a supposed highly reliable source – it will be launched sometime between the last week of September and the first week of October, where the final product was created by a consortium of approximately 30 companies ranging from chip makers to software providers, carriers, and OEM manufacturers. The Google phone will be open source and released in an unlocked, neutral environment. This reference handset will roll out simultaneously in US, Japan, China, and Europe, with a carrier in each region ready to rumble. It will be the anti-iPhone of the times, so you can say hello to relatively affordable prices. What’s your $0.02 on it? The image that you see here is but a concept and not the final product.
