No Palm Centro announcement this month

For all the hype that abounded before this, there won’t be any Palm Centro announcement when September 12 rolls around. While Palm’s European site did mention about picking up a new Palm smartphone via a competition, officially there won’t be such an announcement this week. Guess all of you can now resume speculating about the Centro. I wonder what’s holding the Centro up – last minute tweaks to the hardware and software?
