Kenwood has injected a little color into the kitchen with their new Response Kettle that lights up in different colors to indicate the current temperature of the liquid inside. This would mean you’re able to have a visual cue of when your water is ready to be poured out into a little teapot, making this a great gift for the hearing impaired (if they’re still using the old school whistling kettle, that is). In addition to bringing water to a boil, the Response Kettle also comes with a switch that automatically cuts power off the moment water is heated to 80 degrees for tea connoisseurs. No idea on how much this costs though, but if you’re looking for a housewarming gift, this definitely won’t go wrong.
