This very eco-friendly solar powered electric bike harnesses the suns rays with solar panels built-in to the wheels. The power absorbed by the wheels fills the battery of the E-V Sunny Bicycle, connected to a 500 watt hub motor attached to the front of the bike. The speed controller allows the bike to travel at speeds of up to 30 km per hour. The bike weighs around 75 lbs. Not bad for all the extra goodies added to the frame. Kits start at $795, while the complete bike will set you back around $1295, give or take a few lost pennies while in transit.
